libmail: a mail handling library
libmail is an open source C library which supports mail checking through POP3, IMAP4 and local unix-like mailboxes and maildirs. It
is intended to be used by developers when integrating mail checking capabilities to their applications.
For details on how to use libmail, read the man pages along with the README file shipped with the libmail package. For
questions, suggestions etc, check out the mailing lists and finally, for the currently
supported features, read the NEWS file distributed with libmail.

- 2010-03-13: libmail is now in official Gentoo portage tree, thanks to Markos Chandras.
- 2009-07-20: libmail-0.3 is out!
